Star Wine List of the Year Sweden 2020 – all the winners!
Djuret in Stockholm won the Grand Prix category in the 2020 Star Wine List of the Year Sweden. Here are all the winners in the ten categories!
On 4 May, Star Wine List of the Year Sweden was held – for the third time in a row. This year, the event was streamed live – with over 20 participants from around ten countries – and led by Arvid Rosengren, jury member and ASI Best Sommelier of the World 2016, and Star Wine List's founder Krister Bengtsson.
”The development we've seen in Sweden the last few years is such a proliferation of great wine lists. There's both the big ones, but also the niche ones,” says Arvid in a comment about this year's jury work.
The international top sommelier jury that has evaluated Sweden's best wine lists 2020 is, apart from Arvid Rosengren: Marc Almert (2019 Best Sommelier of the World), Paz Levinson (Best sommelier of Argentina and the Americas), Pascaline Lepeltier (2018 Best sommelier of France) and Rasmus Marquart (2019 Nordic sommelier champion).
Restaurant Djuret in Stockholm won the prestigious Grand Prix category.
”A perpetual finalist and truly a temple of wine in Stockholm, the growth, diversity and personal flair that we’ve seen in this list is fantastic and highly worthy of the title,” says Arvid Rosengren about the winner.
