Star Wine List Awards Australia with GT WINE 2021 – all the winners
On Nov. 8, Gourmet Traveller WINE and Star Wine List teamed up to celebrate the great wine lists of Australia and the teams behind them. All in all, the jury went through over 70 top wine lists – here are all the winners!
“With more than 70 wine lists submitted for our very first Australian event with GT WINE, we were spoiled with great choices and the jury had its work cut out for them,” says Krister Bengtsson, founder of Star Wine List.
In the first ever Australian celebration, Ten Minutes by Tractor, Mornington Peninsula, was the big winner with two Gold Stars: By The Glass and the prestigious Grand Prix, awarding the top Australian wine list with more than 600 listings.
"A wonderful list offering both breadth and depth. Featuring an extensive selection of local and Australian wines that showcase the best of the country, alongside the great classics of Europe and the world. Well- presented, with a tantalising selection of back-vintage wines, this is an exceptional list making 10 Minutes by Tractor a must-visit destination for any wine-lover," says local jury member Andrea Pritzker MW.
Star Wine List Awards Australia with GT WINE is part of the Star Wine List of the Year tour of wine list celebrations. The first international tour visited 10 countries and concluded with a final in May this year.
The winners in Australia were revealed during an online event hosted by Krister Bengtsson and local jury member Jacqueline Turner.
