California By The Glass – taking place across Europe this June!

Throughout June 2026, a host of restaurants across Europe are participating in ‘California By The Glass’ – where will you find your next taste of the Golden State?

The California Stars are restaurants in Europe with strong selections of Californian wine – a means of experiencing the wonderful wines produced in the state. A new campaign will see many of these establishments offering special by-the-glass lists, for four weeks during June 2026.

Every California By The Glass list will contain at least four wines, from a minimum of two different wineries in California. You’ll spot them easily because each list will bare the California Wines logo and have its own page or insert in the main wine list, so that you can easily find your next favourite.

All participating venues have been approved by California Wines, with applications coming in from a range of restaurants. So whether you’re looking for some fine dining, a cosy wine bar, or anything in between, you now have over 50 destinations dotted over Europe through which to explore the wines of California.

“The California Wines By The Glass campaign demonstrates the growing enthusiasm for California wines within the European on-trade,” says Marco Tiggelman, Director of Trade Programs for Continental Europe and Africa. “We were impressed by the quality and diversity of the applications, and are excited to see more than 50 restaurants across Europe offering guests more opportunities to discover California wines by the glass.”
