Kinfelts Wine List
About Kinfelts
Located in the Hafen district, around the corner from the Elbphilharmonie, this wine restaurant has a great view over the harbour and a relaxed wine bar vibe. Kinfelts owners Maximilian Wilm (Best Sommelier Germany 2019) and Kirill Kinfelt (a local Michelin Star chef) wanted to create a fun, relaxed place to enjoy great wine. The food menu is “international casual fine dining” meaning you can get pasta, regional specialities and steaks.
The menu changes often; however, the local favourites like truffle pasta keep a fixed spot on the otherwise very seasonal menu. The restaurant's design is flexible and guest-friendly and works well for both just a glass of wine or a long romantic dinner.
If you want to make it a formal event and order four courses, they offer various dishes in two sizes. The modern space also offers a cosy bar and a section with high tables that are fit to the wine bar vibe. The design details are Scandi modern with lots of personal touches.
About the Kinfelts Wine List
The wine list contains a fabulous mix of well-known classics and under the radar wines from around the world. The bottle list offers around 350 positions and goes deep into Germany, USA, Burgundy, Italy & Austria.
The by-the-glass list also includes a reserve Coravin list with rotating treasures such as 1994 D’Yquem and Bussaco Branco 2001. They also offer a weekly big bottle from the cellar by the glass, and it is always something fun to check out. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
