The Norwegian finalists battling it out for Gold Stars this October
Star Wine List of the Year Norway returns to Oslo this October, and these are the wine bars and restaurants in the running for Gold Stars.
The best wine lists in Norway will be named at an awards ceremony hosted during Sommelier Day in Oslo, on 12 October 2025 – the third stop on this season’s Star Wine List of the Year international tour.
Judges Mikk Parre, Aase E. Jacobsen, Stephen Wong MW and June Rodil MS have just announced their 55 finalists. They include last year’s big winners at both our Norwegian and international awards, Park Hotel Vossevangen and Vinland, in addition to other former Gold Stars Arakataka, Lasarett Vinbar, Spontan, and Speilsalen at Britannia Hotel.
Whilst the finalists are spread across 14 cities, it is Oslo that boasts the largest proportion, with 30 teams all gunning for Gold Stars in the capital. It’s set to be a lively ceremony!
Winners in all categories will automatically be entered into the Star Wine List of the Year International Final, which will be held in summer 2026. Scroll down to meet the finalists.
