We will host our sixth event in Norway on 12th October 2025, alongside the Norwegian Sommelier Day.

Norwegian sommeliers are invited to submit their wine lists for Star Wine List of the Year Norway 2025 – one of the fiercest competitions of our world tour, with many previous winners also going on to dominate our International Final. Will you be next?

Entries are now open in 10 categories, including new recurring awards for the Best Italian Wine List (recognising strong Italian selections of every region, colour and style) and a Special Jury Prize (for venues doing something the judges believe to be out of the ordinary). We have also revised the assessment for our Sustainability Prize in order to gain greater insight from venues into their sustainable practices and philosophies. Gold Stars will be conferred at an awards ceremony in Oslo, in October, attended by the finalists.
