Oslo’s Happolati has the Best Austrian Wine List in Norway 2025
Gold Stars were presented to the winners of Star Wine List of the Year Norway on 12 October 2025, during the Sommelier Day activities in Oslo. Sponsored by Austrian Wine, our category for Best Austrian Wine List celebrates the finest selections of the country’s wines across Norway.
Lovers of Austrian wine should head for Happolati in Oslo’s city centre, it was announced this week.
Sponsored by Austrian Wine, the Gold Star was presented to this modern fusion restaurant for a list that “masterfully presents Austria in a modern light,” according to judge Stephen Wong MW.
He praised Happolati for “focusing on great producers and offering plenty of mature white wines while also introducing wine lovers to good Austrian reds, sparkling and mash-ferments. This has clearly been put together by someone who deeply understands the country’s diverse range of styles and regions.”
