About Hermetikken Vinbar
Hermetikken Vinebar & Vinbistro is, as the name suggests, both a wine bar and a wine bistro located in the beautiful Ledaal park, a short walk from the city centre. This stylish venue is the second place opened by the people behind Norvald Vinbar, Silje Hanasand and Knut-Espen Misje. This time they have teamed up with sommelier Mikela Johannessen and head chef Stuart Barber. Stuart has worked at top UK restaurants such as Michelin three-star restaurant The Fat Duck, Story London (two stars in the Michelin guide) and Morston Hall (one star in the Michelin guide), and Mikela is a skilful sommelier.
Together the team serves up an exciting menu based on Stuart's skills and the best local produce, paired with top-notch wines. The wine list is a work in progress and currently has around 300 labels, with a generous selection of wines by the glass; Coravin is used for both still and sparkling wines. The focus is building a stellar selection of quality wines focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from top producers around the world. Stop by for a three-course meal with wine pairing or a lobster roll and a glass of chilled Chardonnay.

In a short time, Hermetikken Vinbar has built up an impressive wine list with a clear focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
