Norway’s Best Medium-Sized List 2025 is at Bellies, Stavanger
On 12 October, we named the best wine lists in Norway during a ceremony held at Sommelier Day in Oslo. In a category sponsored by Bona Fide Wines, the award for Best Medium-Sized List was presented to Bellies, in Stavanger.
On Sunday, plant-based Bellies restaurant in Stavanger, on Norway’s southwest coast, was recognised for having the Best Medium-Sized List at Star Wine List of the Year Norway 2025.
Judge Mikk Parre praised Bellies for its “producer-driven list with a strong narrative, offering treasures for traditional wine lovers as well as exciting discoveries from rising stars and champions of low-intervention winemaking.”
A Gold Star was presented to Ines Enfors and Christoffer Bergøy by Gunnar Skoglund of Oslo-based importer Bona Fide Wines.
“It’s where passion meets precision,” Gunnar explains of this category, which celebrates wine lists that contain between 200 and 600 references. “Not too overwhelming, rather being thoughtfully edited for discovery and diversity yet still leaving room for deep diving in areas representing the DNA of the venue or sommelier.”
Gunnar describes Bona Fide Wines as “a group of friends and wine enthusiasts (yes, admittedly, we’re being called wine geeks as well, frequently) united by our passion to seek out authentic wines with a story to tell. The team was eager to join our competition in Norway “to celebrate all these great places that, through their passion and dedication, encourage us to go out and spend our money on wines and memorable experiences.
