Star Wine List of the Year Austria 2021 – here are all the winners
Palais Coburg – Silvio Nickol has the best wine list in Austria. The restaurant won the prestigious Grand Prix category for best Austrian wine list overall in the first ever Star Wine List of the Year Austria, presented by Austrian Wine. Here are all the winners.
”There was a lot of passion in all the wine lists, and especially interesting to see was that there were indeed some great wine lists from Vienna, but also from other parts of Austria. Also strong focus on low intervention and natural wines, but with a great mix of more classical wines as well,” says jury member Marc Almert about the competition.
On 12 May, Star Wine List celebrated the best Austrian wine lists during the first ever Star Wine List of the Year Austria. The event was live-streamed and led by Star Wine List’s Project Manager Ida Kymmer together with sommelier Manu Rosier, Star Wine List’s ambassador in Berlin.
Media partner for Star Wine List of the Year Austria was Kalk & Kegel. Also, thanks a lot to the Austrian Sommelier Union.
