The finalists in Star Wine List of the Year New York 2026
Star Wine List of the Year returns to New York for the fourth time this May, and these are the wine bars and restaurants in the running for the 2026 Gold Stars.
On 4 May 2026, Star Wine List’s Krister Bengtsson and Liora Levi will host an awards ceremony in New York City to announce the best wine lists across the greater metropolitan area. This will be the fourth time that Star Wine List of the Year has celebrated New York’s wine lists – and, of course, the sommelier teams that create them.
This year’s judges have now selected 58 finalists spread across the city and, once again, Tarrytown in Westchester, home to Blue Hill at Stone Barns – a familiar face at previous awards and three-time former Gold Star winner, this two-Michelin-starred seasonal restaurant, set in 80 acres, is nominated for a whopping seven prizes this year.
Winners from 2025 returning to defend their titles include the three-Michelin-starred destination restaurant Eleven Madison Park, Pascaline Lepeltier’s Chambers in Tribeca, Ardesia Wine Bar in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan’s fried chicken and bubbly sensation Coqodaq, and last year’s Best Newcomer, Chez Fifi on the Upper East Side.
Our New York City Ambassador, journalist Wanda Mann, will help Krister and Liora present Gold Stars to the winners. Find out who they might be, below.
