COTE is one of the New York transplants that has made itself right at home in Miami’s Design District. Now with a Michelin Star, COTE is a hotspot for tourists and locals alike. On any given night, it’s possible to see some familiar star-studded faces indulging in gourmet Korean barbeque while ambient house beats energize and excite. When it comes to wine, COTE’s list is not shy. Lauded as one of the fanciest in the city, this is the place you come to show off your exquisite wine taste. But what is cool about COTE is that the list isn’t exclusively the who’s who of Grand Crus. On the contrar...

Best Medium-Sized List Florida, presented by Château Tours des Termes 2026
The Joyce brings a nostalgic fine dining experience to one of Miami Beach’s most charming streets, Española Way. There is already something transportive about this street, which feels more reminiscent of a quaint European escape than the middle of South Beach. Inside The Joyce, that sentimental mood carries through familiar dishes reimagined for a more refined palate. The wine list leans French, with strong selections from Champagne, Burgundy, and Bordeaux, and a smaller selection from elsewhere around the world. (This is not the place to come expecting a deep bench of Italian bottles.) And,...

Best Short List Florida 2026
Boia De is a modest Michelin-starred restaurant in the same humble shopping center as Walrus Rodeo in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami. If you aren’t looking for the exclamation point neon sign, you may just miss it. Popular before Michelin arrived in Miami, Boia De is a casual Italian-influenced eatery that requires a reservation long in advance of your visit. Not just because of popularity, but because of the intimate nature of the seating options. Boia De has a big heart, but small square footage. The list is fun and features special releases and reserve wines in addition to the re...

Best Sparkling Wine List Florida 2026
Miami has no lack of “clubstaurants,” and this Brickell restaurant definitely fits into the category. Part fine dining, part nightclub, Sexy Fish is a “go-big” type of establishment. The menu offers an array of sushi, sashimi, maki, and seafood options as well as vegetables and meat. But the most impressive part of this trendy restaurant is the wine list. With one of the largest selections of two of the top premium labels in the world, Sexy Fish is a wonderland for the classic fine wine palate. The choices are seemingly endless on this long list, which features brag-worthy vintages of Grand C...

Krüs Kitchen is a seasonally focused, airy restaurant that fits quite nicely into the laid-back vibe of Coconut Grove. It’s located on the second floor on top of another neighbourhood favourite, Los Félix. At Krüs, the menu offers something more creative. Each dish will keep you wondering, “How did they come up with that?” But in the best way. From one of their signatures – smoked coconut rice with saffron custard, cilantro chimichurri grilled colossal crab, and trout roe – to seasonally available greens and heartier dishes like pastas and fresh catches, dining at Krüs is always a delightful...

Tucked away in a charming restored 1940s house and gardens, just a few blocks from the Design District, Mandolin Aegean Bistro isn’t just beloved for its breezy Mediterranean plates, it also boasts a thoughtfully curated wine list that highlights boutique and sustainable producers from places like France, Italy, Greece, and Turkey, to name a few. The selection leans into the spirit of the cuisine, offering crisp Assyrtikos, vibrant rosés, and earthy reds that pair beautifully with the grilled octopus, lamb chops, and fresh meze of the menu. There are splurge-worthy bottles as well as a nice s...

It’s easy to walk past this restaurant on Ocean Drive (south of 5th) if you don’t know that it is tucked inside the Art Deco-style Balfour Hotel. Laurel is a breezy Mediterranean escape right in the heart of South Beach, so close to the actual beach that it’s an ideal spot for a sunset dinner after a splash in the ocean. For starters, think of mezze plates full of delicious dips, made for sharing, or a fresh watermelon and feta salad. The menu leans Greek with other inspirations from the Med, all paired with a diverse wine list curated by General Manager Lisbet Lopez. Whether you are in the...
