About Boia De
Boia De is a modest Michelin-starred restaurant in the same humble shopping center as Walrus Rodeo in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami. If you aren’t looking for the exclamation point neon sign, you may just miss it. Popular before Michelin arrived in Miami, Boia De is a casual Italian-influenced eatery that requires a reservation long in advance of your visit. Not just because of popularity, but because of the intimate nature of the seating options. Boia De has a big heart, but small square footage.
The list is fun and features special releases and reserve wines in addition to the regulars. The selections skew more alternative and less classic in style, but not necessarily in nature. For example, you can find Arneis and Lambrusco, Vermentino and Viura, but maybe not the big labels you are used to seeing. “Light and crunchy” reds may be a term that only super wine-loving people use, but it’s an official section on this list. If you know, you know. If not, ask for a suggestion or a surprise from Boia De’s friendly somm.
