historyandwine

Jacqueline Coleman is a native Miamian with deep roots in the Magic City. In her mid-twenties she traded Mojitos for Petit Manseng for a few years while living in the Washington, D.C. area. This is where her passion for wine blossomed as she explored the wineries of Virginia.

Since 2012, Jacqueline has shared stories about wines and regions she loves with audiences through various publications, both online and in print. She has hosted podcasts, judged at wine competitions, and curated tasting events and dinners. In 2017, she became the monthly "Vino" columnist for Miami’s Biscayne Times newspaper. And in 2019, she joined Linda Gassenheimer’s live radio show (now podcast), “Food, News, and Views” as a guest host covering the wine & drinks segment. She is the Co-Editor of WineGuideMiami.com and contributes to Luxury Guide USA magazine as a luxury wine consultant and writer.

Jacqueline has earned certifications through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Award in Wine, International Sommelier Guild (ISG), U.S. Sommelier Association, Florida International University Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Wine Program, and Wine Scholar Guild.

She is excited to share more about her home city of Miami’s dynamic wine culture with an international audience.
