It’s easy to get swamped by the chaos of South Beach on a busy night, which is why Water Lion is the perfect refuge for the wayward wine lover who finds themself looking for that perfect glass. Located in the lobby of The Sagamore Hotel, Water Lion is a small and chic wine bar offering selections from all corners of the world. The more uncommon, the better! The list is rotating, so there is always something new to explore. My go-to ask is for something new and exciting, and the folks at Water Lion always deliver on this request.
Snacks and bar bites are available, but I always say this is the best spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink, or perhaps even a cozy first date. Stop in for a glass and get comfortable. It’s easy to spend hours in this wine lover’s nook without noticing any time has passed at all.
