About Ariete
Tucked into a cozy corner of Coconut Grove near The Allocation Room wine bar, Ariete is one of The Magic City’s Michelin-starred restaurants by home-grown Miami Chef, Michael Beltran. Ariete offers hearty dishes ranging from seafood to pork, and the menu can change depending on what is fresh and in season. The kicker is that there is a Cuban flare to many of the dishes, a nod to our dominant South Florida culture and Beltran’s heritage.
With five options for Champagne by the glass right off the bat, you know you’re in for a great classic list. But you can even get a little funkier with a pick from the “curious wines” section, featuring bottles that are often underrepresented on traditional lists. If you want to dig deeper, the list continues with a section of limited availability “hidden gems” that are waiting to be explored. On the classic side, the list leans French and California, but there are plenty of options from Italy, Spain, Germany, and Austria as well.
