Tomiño Taberna Gallega Wine List
About Tomiño Taberna Gallega
Only in New York could you find a Galician tavern on the border of Little Italy and Chinatown. Founded by three brothers, Phil, Marco, and Victor González, with roots in Galicia, since opening in 2017, Tomiño has become a beloved spot for Spaniards craving the seafood-driven cuisine of this region in northwest Spain and for everyone in search of something deliciously different. There’s ample seating inside the bar or main dining room, and people-watching at the outside tables is bonus entertainment. Phil is a trained sommelier and has composed a small yet thoughtful list of Spanish wines, including what he believes is NYC’s largest selection of Albariño by the glass. The list also includes Galician reds that tend to be scarce at other Spanish restaurants in town. Other regions, including Rioja and Ribera del Duero, are also represented.
