The best wine lists in New York will be announced at an awards ceremony on 4 May 2026.
Star Wine List of the Year will celebrate the finest wine lists in New York in May 2026 – the fourth time we’ve brought the competition to the region.
Restaurants and wine bars across the New York metropolitan area are invited to submit their lists once entries open, in January. Submissions will be judged by an expert jury panel from across the global wine industry – names will be revealed here, soon.

All restaurants and wine bars in the New York metropolitan area.

How are the awards judged?
A panel of top sommeliers and wine experts will assess all wine lists entered. More details below.
What if I'm shortlisted?
We will invite you to our awards ceremony to announce the Gold Star winners.
What if I win?
You will receive a Gold Star in the form of a physical certificate and digital badges. Winners in our international categories will automatically be entered into the Star Wine List of the Year International Final, in June 2026.
