Bar'Vin won best By The Glass List in Denmark 2021

Bar'Vin in Copenhagen won a Gold Star in the category By The Glass List when Star Wine List of the Year Denmark 2021 was celebrated on 13 September.
"Thank you very much. A big pleasure, and a big surprise too, I am very happy," said Nils Thyge from Bar'Vin when he and his team received the Gold Star from Krister Bengtsson, Star Wine List's founder and publisher, on stage in Copenhagen on Monday.
He continued:
"When I started some thirty years ago, everybody had to go to the centre of the city to drink wine or have a good time, go the movies or a café. Nowadays, you don’t have to anymore, and of course that has been a challenge for us. It’s more difficult now than it used to be, but we love having a local restaurant there. And during the pandemic we actually did pretty well."
"Reading the by the glass selection of Bar’Vin list is thrilling! We can feel the emotions of the wines. The selection is mostly from Europe but it’s great and maintains diversity of styles, vintages, types and voices. Great merit!" says jury member Paz Levinson, Best Sommelier of Argentina and the Americas, about the winning list.
The jury's motivation: "A very complete by the glass list – both natural and classic with depth of styles".
