The Best California Wine List in Denmark 2025 is at Alchemist, Copenhagen
The winners of Star Wine List of the Year Denmark 2025 were announced at an awards event at Restaurant Babylon in Copenhagen on 24 November. Famed restaurant, Alchemist, received the Gold Star for the Best California Wine List, a category supported by Pahlmeyer.
With two Michelin stars, Alchemist is also no stranger to the Star Wine List of the Year awards, having won a series of Gold Stars in the past. This year, the Copenhagen restaurant was rewarded for its selection of Californian wines in our sixth celebration of the country’s best wine lists.
“A commanding list which dives deep into California's AVAs and subregions with verticals of both traditional and modern classics, this is put together by a team that clearly knows its stuff, showing mastery to rival those found State-side,” commented judge Stephen Wong MW.
This local category was presented by Napa producer Pahlmeyer.
