About Clipstone
From the team who run The Quality Chop House, Portland and Emilia, Clipstone is the most casual of the group and has a snappy little list to match. The food is the fresh, modern bistro du jour, with one of the best value set lunches in town. Everything on the list is available by the glass, carafe and bottle, some from keg to preserve freshness, offer the best value and tick eco boxes. Whilst short it's great value (house wine £4!), there's something for everyone (up to ~£90/btl) from old and new world dynamic small producers, plus a 'Winemaker Page' focusing on a select few for a bit of depth. Don't worry if this still sounds a little limiting - they hold a copy of Portland's wine list (their one-star sister round the corner) should you wish to branch out or upgrade.
