About Dinner by Heston
Dinner by Heston is the two Michelin starred restaurant in the luxurious Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge. The menu is a twist on the more common ’classic fine dining with a modern edge’ by being ‘modern fine dining with a historical edge’ – each dish annotated by the decade/century from which it originated, reinventing and updating food fashions from as far back as the 1700’s.
The interior is slick and professional with plenty of 5-star warmth. The overall experience marries posh with playful; it’s original yet comfortingly accessible.

The wine list has around 850 references and is a very comprehensive selection from all around the world. There’s both breadth and depth on offer here, with older vintages and a good balance of world-class estates and smaller domains/producers with limited allocations. California, Austria, Germany and the Rhone Valley are extra well-catered for, alongside all the classic Bordeaux/Burgundies.
An impressive 50 wines by the glass, a thorough list of Champagnes, grower and grand marques, complete the precise and skillfully chosen line up.
