Blisko Bar

Blisko Bar is a wine bistro created by the people behind Dyletanci and the wine import company Winoblisko (you can see what they’re working on by checking the wine list at Dyletanci). Blisko translates as “close” and the bar is located in the unique Praga Północ district of Warsaw which, until recently, was too artistic and untamed to even consider running more complex concepts. However, at the beginning of 2024, Blisko Bar joined the ranks of well-known places in the area, settling on one of the most beautiful streets in the district: Stalowa.

The food consists of small plates, designed for sharing, and they also serve Neapolitan-style pizza. The interior evokes the vibe of wine bars in Copenhagen or Berlin – somewhat raw, fitting in with the architecture of tenement houses, but with a careful eye on detail and design. The music is played from vinyl records, and there are also occasional musical pop-ups.

There is no wine list per se – only wines by the glass, with bottles selected directly from the shelves. The entire selection is available for purchase to take home.

They focus on their own imported wines, particularly those on the natural side. So, from Austria, you’ll likely find Claus Preisinger or Christian Tschida; from the South of France, Matassa; from Burgundy, Cossard or Maison Valette; and from the Loire, Domaine de l’Ecu. There are also more classic wines along the lines of d’Angerville, but they are definitely in the minority.

Small glasses emblazoned with the Blisko logo enhance the Paris-Berlin vibe, but there are also Zalto glasses. Though there is definitely room for a broader selection, the current one fits perfectly with the space, the energy, and the expectations of the guests.
