About Beta
Beta in Kuala Lumpur operates under the same roof that manages Skillet Kuala Lumpur and is located in Colmar Suite, just 50 metres away from Skillet. Unlike their European-themed restaurant, Beta focuses on Malaysian Cuisine where chef/owner Raymond Tham implements his French cooking techniques with the usage of seasonal ingredients from local markets in Malaysia to showcase classic Malaysian dishes with a twist of contemporary flavours in a refined style.
Similar to Skillet, Beta at the moment does not have any sommelier or wine personnel so the wine service is currently led by a restaurant manager who is young, energetic and passionate about wine.
The wine list focuses mainly on France, Italy and other Old World countries, with a few New World choices such as Australia and New Zealand.
