Beta

Beta in Kuala Lumpur operates under the same roof that manages Skillet Kuala Lumpur, and is located in Colmar Suite, just 50 metres away. Unlike their European-themed restaurant, Beta focuses on Malaysian cuisine with chef-owner Raymond Tham implementing his French cooking techniques on seasonal ingredients sourced from local markets in Malaysia to showcase classic Malaysian dishes with a twist of contemporary flavours, and in a refined style.

Similar to Skillet, Beta does not currently have any sommeliers or wine personnel, and so the wine service is currently led by a restaurant manager who is young, energetic and passionate about wine. The list focuses mainly on France, Italy and other Old World countries, with a few New World choices such as Australia and New Zealand.
