This intimate and buzzy restaurant serves up some of the most creative dishes in Mendoza, taking inspiration from traditional dishes and ingredients from all over Argentina, but delivered with a contemporary twist. Although the cocktails are incredibly popular, Autentico also has a very good wine list for those keen to explore. Mood lighting, an upbeat playlist, and service till 2 a.m. give this restaurant quite a lively vibe in the evenings, taking over the more relaxed atmosphere during weekend brunch.

Separated by region rather than varietal or winery, the wine list of Autentico puts place first. While Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley naturally dominate the list, there are also a selection of wines from further afield, including niche old-vine Criolla wines from Eastern Mendoza and refreshing wines from the coast. By-the-glass options are limited, with patrons usually opting for one of Autentico’s renowned cocktails as an aperitif.
