About 7

The market-driven menu at 7 is a solid affair and a fantastic example of Lima’s numerous casual dining restaurants. Helmed by chef Ricardo Martins, who opened sister establishment La Perlita in 2025, there are always a few excellent pasta dishes on the menu, such as rabbit ravioli with almond pesto and apricot purée. Martins’ hand in seafood is excellent; when it’s the season, order razor clams in vongole butter and limo chilli pepper green salsa.

The 30-strong wine list created by sommelier Iván Mestanza is a compact affair, with light reds and whites in equal measure that best accompany the seafood-driven menu. Try some Peruvian Negra Criolla, ideally from the Pisco Valley’s Bodega Murga if you see it on the list.

Thanks to its low lighting, 7 is a great spot for date night.
