An intimate space in trendy Barranco, Mérito has made its mark on Lima’s demanding food scene thanks to an artistic and eloquent menu uniting Venezuelan and Peruvian flavours. A regular in Latin America’s ‘50 Best Restaurants’ list, in 2025 it ranked fourth. Book a spot at the kitchen counter and watch chef Juan Luis Martínez prepare scallops tiradito with tumbo (banana passion fruit) leche de tigre tiger milk and glazed pork belly.
