The wine bug caught Jérôme early. Hospitality jobs helped him not only to finance his studies but also stock the wine fridge that proudly stood in his student room. But it was his first role with a national distributor in 2016, in the UK, that truly set him on the path he follows today. He eventually left that job to launch his own company, and work as a consultant sommelier and manager for new hospitality openings.

As a head sommelier for fine-dining restaurants in both France and the UK, Jérôme developed wine programmes that earned Gold and Silver Stars from Star Wine List, each in their very first year of opening. Sustainability, minority representation and affordability were at the core of every wine list he crafted, alongside close relationships with producers and their distributors.

Jérôme served as a jury member for the inaugural Meilleur Sommelier des Terroirs du Pays Nantais (or simply, the Best Muscadet Sommelier Competition) and has been a guest speaker at trade shows and public tastings. He is now based in Nantes, at the heart of the Muscadet vineyards and its new wave of talented producers.
