Vinoteca Kings Cross Wine List

About Vinoteca Kings Cross

Vinoteca Kings Cross is the flagship venue from this small group of wine bars. The original opened in Farringdon in 2005 and was one of the first new bistro-style wine bars that helped re-define wine drinking in London. The Kings Cross venue is much bigger, with a busy brasserie vibe, a large terrace out front and a retail wine shop on the side.

Part of the new urban development around the historical Kings Cross St Pancras station – ideal for a glass before or after getting on the train or Eurostar! The food is classic modern European bistro – bavette and chips, fresh salads, grilled fish. There’s a by-the-glass recommendation for each dish, the descriptions of which are always honest, useful and entertaining.

About the Vinoteca Kings Cross Wine List

Vinoteca’s wine list is a pretty wide-ranging mix of easy-going, carefully chosen classics and crowd-pleasers, plus interesting bottles from off the beaten track and a small selection of fine wines to round things off. Prices are very fair, and the vibe is inclusive and fun.

It’s a list that reflects the curiosity, passion and generous hospitality of the founder/owners, long-time wine trade pals Brett Wooton and Charlie Young. Never shy to embrace the new ideas and projects whether that be installing wine on tap, serving a spritzer in a can or starting their own label wine project in Australia, Rodney & The Horse.
