Shiraz Jardin des Vins has been voted the best wine bar in the Netherlands and the best wine bar in Amsterdam. This is a great spot to drop by for a glass of your favourite wine. There are two different Shiraz bars: one in the historical centre​ of Amsterdam, and one in The College Hotel in Oud Zuid district of Amsterdam.

Everything is right at this wine bar: There’s the enthusiastic reception of trained sommeliers, a clear explanation of the wine list, and peace of mind to choose from the extensive wine selection. The interior is very atmospheric, with high tables interspersed with low seats and a nice bar. The dishes on the menu are exciting and well-prepared, and also don’t miss the cheeses and the cold cuts.

​​The wine list is very well composed with true icons for every taste profile. The selection of wines by the glass is big, and there is also a huge range of wines by the bottle – with a fixed storage price.

Of course, you will find a wide selection of Shiraz/Syrah wines here. However, the list contains over 200 wines from around 20 countries, with classics like Coche-Dury, Mullineux and Domaine Lamy-Pillot.

Shiraz serves many wines by the glass, so you can always taste many different wines. You can also experience an extended wine tasting program with just the extensive selection of wines served by the glass. You may always try a wine from the list of open bottles. The sommeliers at Shiraz are happy to give you any advice based on your wishes, but they can also surprise you. For groups of 8 people or more, you can reserve a private tasting at Shiraz.
