About Da Terra
Da Terra is the brainchild of chef Rafael Cagali and General Manager Charlie Lee, who met while working together at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck. Opening in 2019, inside the Edwardian Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green, it took less than a year for the team to achieve its first Michelin star; the second star followed in 2021.
Chef Cagali is originally from Sao Paolo, with an Italian background, and the restaurant’s tasting menu bears the strong impression of Latin America and Italy, with European influences. The dining room has a warm, elegant and contemporary feel.
The wine list is extensive and incredibly well crafted, with a wine pairing menu also available.
