Originally from Copenhagen, Kathrine Larsen-Robert MS began her career in hospitality in 2002, interning for a number of one and two Michelin star restaurants, while at the same time studying at Copenhagen Hospitality College. In 2007 she relocated to London where she joined the D&D restaurant group, working for restaurants Le Pont de la Tour, Skylon, and the Orrery. In 2013 she joined the Japanese fusion restaurant Zuma as Head Sommelier, and in 2015 left the restaurant floor to specialise in fine wine, with one of the UK's biggest wine importers.

In 2013 Larsen-Robert was named UK Young Sommelier of the Year, and was admitted to the Court of Master Sommeliers, having also been awarded the Grand Siècle award for the highest exam results of her year. In 2014 she was named UK Sommelier of the Year.

Larsen-Robert is head of the Theory Panel for the United Kingdom Sommelier Academy and is regularly judging at sommelier and wine competitions in the UK and abroad. In September 2024, she joined the private members' club, 67 Pall Mall, as Head of Wine for Europe.
