About Raffles London at The OWO

Raffles is the new London outpost of this luxury group of hotels. Located in the stunning Old War Office, in the heart of Whitehall and just south of Trafalgar Square, Raffles has 120 rooms and no fewer than nine restaurants and three bars. The restaurant choices range from fine dining (with two restaurants from Argentinian chef Mauro Colagreco, Japanese-inspired cuisine at Kioku by Endo, and the Italian Langosteria) to more casual all-day dining (the Francophile Café Lapérouse, Colagreco’s Mediterranean-inspired Saison, and the classically British The Drawing Room). There is so much choice here, and all in an incredible historical setting – whether I just want to meet someone for a drink, or to dine, I have not been disappointed.

The wine list is headed up by Vincenzo Arnese, Champagne Taittinger's ‘UK Sommelier of the Year’ in 2022 and previously at three-starred Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester. The different outlets have their own wine selections, as appropriate, but throughout there is a focus on sustainable production methods and choices. Whether you want to go for the full wine pairing menu at Mauro Colagreco (you can choose between the ‘Exploratory,’ the ‘Leisure’ or the ‘Temperance’ routes) or just have a glass of white with your lunch at Lapérouse you can be sure that both will be very well curated.
