About Chato's Wine Bar
Cafayate is one of the remotest wine regions, and also one of the most beautiful. A place not to miss when you’re there is Chato’s wine bar, where you can find a great selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass, as well as wine tastings with several different wines. Small bites are offered as well.
Eduardo ”Chato” Cruz runs it by himself and he is a lovely and knowledgeable host. Since wine bars are not yet a big part of the Argentine culture, it is most definitely a hangout for wine-loving tourists (as you can tell from the many happy selfies on Chato’s Instagram account). Open daily from 7 to 10 PM.
