Ale Wino!

About Ale Wino!

Ale Wino opened in 2013 and is located at 48 Mokotowska street, just one block away from Downtown Warsaw. What is beautiful about it, is that you feel far away from the busy area – to get to Mokotowska street, you need to go through a gate and take an extra turn before entering probably the most charming bistro patio in Warsaw. From there, you will find the entrance to Ale Wino.

The food is simple and tasty, just as it should be at a top bistro like this: cold and hot starters, main courses, a few desserts, homemade cold cuts, and some extraordinary homemade bread – just everything you need. I can’t help myself from getting their duck rillettes too but, if you are a pescatarian or a vegetarian, you still have many options.

The ambience is cosy and comfortable, and Ale wino has been awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin Guide.

About the Ale Wino! Wine List

There's no actual wine list, but there is a room with all wines on the shelves – around 250 different bottles. They include a lot of central European wines, some classics from Spain and Portugal, more natural examples from Italy, and some sharp and delicious German and Austrian wine.

There is also a nice Hungarian selection and some orange wines, too.

Prices start at 40 Euros per bottle and you can take wines away as well (that was the idea from the very beginning).
