Yu Ting Yuan

If you are into Cantonese food you are surely in for a treat when visiting Yu Ting Yuan. The restaurant is located within the stunning Four Seasons Hotel in Bangkok, on the shore of the Chao Phraya River. The restaurant's interior is equally stunning with an immensely high ceiling and a beautiful view of the inner garden miniature lake. Friendly and humble staff serve delicious Cantonese specialities, the pork variations are a must try and if you want a bit of sting in your food, do order the lobster with Sichuan pepper.

The wine list is not very large, but there are plenty of labels and producers that speak to wine lovers. Their Champagne list holds more than 40 references and if you’re just out for a quick lunch they have a nice offering of wines by Coravin. There is a focus on white and red Burgundy as well as reds from both Bordeaux and Italy. If you prefer Riesling, they do offer some from both Germany and Austria. A few wines from the new world including a Chinese one and even a page of sweet wines, fortified and Chinese spirits.
