About Charmkrung
Charmkrung is the second restaurant from Jai and his team of young, creative and talented people. Charmkrung, similar to their first restaurant Charmgang, focuses on Thai food made with great produce and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in dishes of complexity and deep flavours. Located on the top floor in a nondescript building right by Talad Noi, the space of the restaurant is playful and fun, and the large open space with both tables and bar counters makes the restaurant a great option for both large groups, dinner dates and solo dinners by the counter.
The wine list is undogmatic, mixing both traditional styles and regions with more progressive and experimental wines, while always keeping a keen eye on the wines’ ability to match the Thai flavours. Prices are kept reasonable and there are some great hidden gems on the list for the observant guest.
