Verōnika by Fotografiska is housed on the fourth floor of the Contemporary Museum for Photography, Art and Culture, which bills itself as a “destination for world-class food and beverage experiences”. It certainly lives up to the hype, with international, sophisticated cuisine on offer at the newly opened restaurant and bar. But it is the wine list that sits at the heart of this venue, offering an eclectic, modern and adventurous selection including a good representation of young up-and-coming German winemakers. And if you are here for the art rather than the food, then you can choose a glass from the bar in the gallery and take it with you to sip while you wander around the exhibition.
The wine list is in a similar vein to the venue itself – eclectic and international, modern yet approachable, intriguing, and adventurous. The sommelier has managed to retain some old favourites, while also making lots of space for up and coming German Winemakers.
