About Troppo

One of Lima’s most revered Italian restaurants, antipasti, primeri and segundi await at this San Isidro establishment. Chef Andrés Morón serves up hits such as fried polenta, vitello tonato and short-rib-stuffed agnolotti, which have limeños returning time and again.

Head sommelier Anthony Quispe keeps an exclusively Italian list (excluding even Champagne) that traverses Sicily in the south up to Alto Adige and the Veneto region in the north east with around 110 labels – it’s the only restaurant in Lima that follows Italian wine tradition to the letter. There is also a smattering of low-intervention wines. Top tip: ask about off-menu vintages that the team brings home from their travels.
