About The Vines of Mendoza

There’s a double pedigree which makes The Vines an important food and wine stop in Mendoza. In its original carnation several years ago, it was Mendoza’s first and only wine bar, but in 2014 The Vines moved location from the city to the Uco Valley, transforming into not only a new wine bar but a luxury hotel and boutique winery, as well as the Siete Fuegos restaurant in collaboration with Argentina’s most famous chef, Francis Mallmann.

The restaurant has a seven course tasting menu which explore seven ways of cooking on fire (or a simpler a la carte menu if you prefer) which are paired with the sommelier’s ample selection in the cava. Before settling on a table inside for a feast, make sure to grab a space on one of the sofas on The Vines’ patio outside, which overlooks the Andes mountains and vineyards - an ideal spot for a glass of wine at sunset!

About the The Vines of Mendoza Wine List

With over 320 labels, The Vines has an expansive list which is curated by one of Argentina’s most experienced wine buyers and sommeliers Mariana Onofri and Head Sommelier Luis Richard. Taking in many of their own labels from the on-site vineyard estate as well as a diverse selection of wines from all of Argentina’s major wine regions, you’ll do best to be guided through by the wine team. Interesting picks include Mediterranean blends from the Uco Valley, old vines of Criolla and a great selection of library vintages and vertical tastings.
