About The Vines of Mendoza
The Vines of Mendoza is an enormous vineyard estate with a boutique winery and a luxury hotel. In addition, it is home to Siete Fuegos, a restaurant exploring the seven methods of cooking on fire, under the direction of Argentina’s most famous chef, Francis Mallmann. While the fame and popularity of the restaurant means it can get quite busy, it still has one of the most engaging wine lists in Mendoza. And there are few places to drink wine that beat the Andes mountain view of The Vines.
About the The Vines of Mendoza Wine List
The Vines’ expansive list has been curated by one of Argentina’s most experienced wine buyers and sommeliers, Mariana Onofri. Taking in many of their own labels from the on-site vineyard estate as well as a diverse selection of wines from all over Argentina, there is a lot to choose from, although the list majors on the Uco Valley. Interesting picks include modern Mediterranean blends (red and white), and a good selection of library vintages.
