About the Cavas Wine Lodge Wine List

Sommelier Martin Krawczyk has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of Argentina’s wines and producers and the wine list at Cavas is unsurprisingly extensive and encyclopedic in its references. Ranging from indie, natural wine producers and their own small-production of wines from their vineyard, to iconic wines from the biggest names in the industry, there’s a wine for most occasions hidden somewhere in this 500 label-strong list.

My romantic tip for anyone celebrating a special occasion and staying overnight is to pick a top bottle and get it sent to your rooftop where the friendly staff will lay out a few cosy throws, rose petals and chocolates by the outdoor fireplace, so you can stargaze while you sip and snuggle!

Wine Tasting at Cavas Wine Lodge

Every evening hotel guests are invited to a private wine tasting in the cellar with sommelier Martin Krawczyk who selects a handful of Argentine wines to take guests through the history and regions of Argentina. Special flights and themes can be organised on request (at additional cost).
