About Burdo

One of the new wave of neo-bodegones, that’s to say, casual Buenos Aires eateries that have been elevated thanks to careful use of ingredients and contemporary culinary techniques, Burdo is notable for its cellar and wine list.

Chef Lucila Rodríguez and her wine-loving brother-in-law and business partner Martín Eddi try everything together, and only wines that they both love make the cut. This August 2025 opening has been able to take advantage of Argentina finally permitting wine imports, and includes vintages from the Adelaide Hills, Alpha, and Colchagua Valley.
