An absolute drinking must-visit in Buenos Aires that continually ranks as one of the World’s ‘50 Best Bars’. Fantastic cocktails inspired by migrants, indigenous communities and autochthonous ingredients are created by top bartender Tato Giovannoni, while the front of house is led by Aline Vargas. There’s also a fantastic selection of natural wines and excellent bar food, with many dishes cooked on the parrilla (grill).
A hidden watering hole, Florería is located on a stylish street in Retiro (a revival neighbourhood) in the basement of a florist and vinoteca (so you can pick up labels to take home). Giovannoni isn’t just a great bartender, he also produces gin, vermouth and vodka, and co-owns a vineyard in Patagonia’s Chubut province.
