About Lardito
Forming part of the successful wave of wine store and restaurant hybrids in Buenos Aires, Lardito is literally blooming. Tucked away on a busy Chacarita avenue, the main dining room is dominated by a single banquet table, whose vases and floral arrangements elegantly separate diners. Lardito gets packed, so book ahead to enjoy the 300-strong label selection and small plates for sharing, such as aguachile and prawn bao. There’s no printed wine menu, so browse the vinoteca and choose your vintage with your eyes; the team tends to stock low-intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small- and medium-size producers across Argentina. Should you prefer your own space, book a spot on the outdoor patio; personally I prefer the buzz (and the AC in summer) at the pretty communal table.
