Bar Rascal Wine List
About Bar Rascal
Bar Rascal is a wine bar with a huge selection of natural wines – and exclusively so. However you interpret that, the wine vibe here is obvious but, of course, there is a range in terms of style and standard. The selection comes from the wine importing company Natural Rascal and, yes, your assumptions are correct.
The bar is located on Moliera street, at the crossroads of the city centre, the Old Town, and just a bridge away from the Praga Północ district. Moliera is part of the gastronomic square that surrounds the Grand Theatre, and there is a lot happening nearby – you could easily spend an entire day here.
Rascal delights with its design, created by the owner, who is also an acclaimed architect: Dominika Buck. The space has the energy of a big city – it’s lively, bustling, and lifestyle-focused, but without feeling like it’s imitating anything; it’s very unique.
The food is honest and pairs well with wine. In fact, it doesn’t have any other purpose than to provide pleasure and complement the wines. You can sit at the bar, at high or low tables, all on the ground floor, but there’s also a mezzanine. There is an outdoor space in the back, too.
About the Bar Rascal Wine List
The selection is vast, with producers represented across many cuvées, some even spanning multiple vintages. Strong names like Arianna Occhipinti, Gut Oggau, Domaine Bobinet, and Charles Dufour are regularly featured, along with plenty of newcomers. The selection started off more democratic, open to experimentation, and enthusiastic, but it has now become more defined. As the wine list is extensive and the front-of-house team may not always be fully updated, it’s wise to check the list before your visit for a bit of extra research.
