From Pinot Noir to Kutch-Dury

After ten vintages of Pinot Noir, California winemaker Jamie Kutch produced his arguably best wine. Only it wasn’t red.

His first try at Chardonnay, the 2014 from Santa Cruz Mountains was mistaken for both Boisson-Vadot and Coche-Dury in blind tastings and earned him the nick-name Kutch-Dury. The wine has long since been sold out but you can find it in Stockholm restaurants and wine bars.

The news and interviews on Star Wine List are only summarised in English. To read the full story in Swedish, please switch language top right on this page.

The wine guides are full text in English and of course the wine search is language neutral, you find those in the menu at the top.
