PM & Vänner won the category Best Sparkling Wine List

PM & Vänner in Växjö won five of the thirteen categories during Star Wine List of the Year Sweden 2022. One of the prestigious categories was Best Sparkling Wine List, presented by Champagne house Duval-Leroy.

The category recognizes the best wine list with sparkling wine.

"A wonderful champagne list covering both grandes marques as well as small grower champagnes. Fascinating verticals enabling to enjoy a mature champagne – even in Magnum! Hopefully they will soon also add sparkling wines from other regions to add even more variation!" says jury member Marc Almert, Best Sommelier of the World 2019, about the winning list.

Arvid Rosengren, jury member and Best Sommelier of the World 2016, was on stage in Stockholm and handed out the diploma together with Star Wine List's founder Krister Bengtsson and Ambassador Manager Liora Levi.

"The winning list is a temple of Champagne. They have all the fancy classics at a great price point, but also a lot of the newer producers," he said.

Apart from this category, PM & Vänner also won Grand Prix, Best Sherry List, Best Italian Wine List och Best Rhône Win List.

Johan P, Malmö
Restaurang AG, Stockholm

The winners in the international categories are all qualified to the international final of Star Wine List of The Year that will be held in June.
