Schmit´s Weinbar

Schmit´s Winebar is located in Witten in the heart of the Ruhrgebiet, just a short walk away from the main station. A beautiful place with the bar in the middle of the room and a wonderful backyard terrace. The food is a seasonal mix of French and Asian cuisine. They also serve delicious high-quality cheese.

The wine list features a lot of young German producers and some French gems. It’s not super big but constantly changing and growing. Ask the lovely sommelier staff for a recommendation. They always have some good wines which are not on the list.
