About La Pergola
La Pergola is an exceptional restaurant nestled on the top floor of the Roma Cavalieri Hotel, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, with a terrace offering a breathtaking view of the city, beginning with the nearby dome of San Pietro. It is the only restaurant in Rome awarded with three Michelin stars.
At the helm of culinary excellence is the world-renowned chef, Heinz Beck, whose brilliance shines through in every meticulously crafted dish. The restaurant's ambience exudes elegance with its classic decor, featuring carpets, curtains, precious artworks adorning the walls, and tables adorned with lavish linens and silver cutlery. However, the restaurant is currently undergoing restyling. It has been entrusted to the studio Jouin Manku of Paris and is set to reopen in Spring 2024 with a fresh new look.
Remarkable is its extensive wine cellar, housing tens of thousands of bottles. Among them are many rare vintages dating back to the early 20th century. The expertise of the team further enhances the dining experience with impeccable wine selections. La Pergola's wine list is indeed monumental, meticulously presented in two comprehensive books: one dedicated to Italian wines and the other to wines from around the world.
