About Krabo
Beachfront restaurant Krabo aims for an island vibe, assisted by its Athens Riviera location (a short drive from the city centre) and its sleek terrace (the sunbeds and cabanas are offered full food and drink service). The contemporary design is overseen by co-owner and architect Yiangos Agiostratitis.
Food comes courtesy of Michelin-starred chef Panagiotis Giakalis, with Petros Fotinis, emphasising the best Mediterranean dishes the surrounding resources can provide – produce is exclusively organic and locally sourced.
And while cocktails are hugely popular, they by no means overshadow the wines: esteemed sommelier Alexis Athanasiou supervises the 300-strong list, which features a broad selection from across the world with extra emphasis on rosés, whites from Burgundy and Santorini, Champagnes, and red Bordeaux. Plus plenty of larger format bottles designed for relaxing in the sunshine.
